All the things you need for your next at-home happy hour!

These inexpensive tools will make cocktail hour so much easier and your drinks taste better! You’ll most likely already have many of these items in your kitchen.

Cocktail shaker – Shake your cocktails (throw out your back as I like to say) like a pro using a metal or glass shaker for the perfect-temperature drink. The metal one is from a Grey Goose gift with purchase during the holidays. The glass one is from Crate and Barrel.

Two-sided jigger or measuring cup – Measure your alcohol so that no one can blame you for making the drinks too strong and so you don’t “ick” yourself the next day for being overserved. I got this one from BevMo!

Bar Spoon- This small spoon and long handle makes it easier to stir, especially if you’ve added ice to the glass. Amazon purchase.

Strainer – The best to pour from a shaker or glass when you want to strain ice or large herbs/fruit and so much faster than using the shaker topper. Amazon purchase.

Mixing Glass – Great for multiple drinks and stirring cocktails. Crate and Barrel.

Ice – Crucial for Scotch and cocktails. @AltadenaBev sells three types of ice perfect for cocktails. Stainless steel reusable ice rocks is a gift from @Tugboatinc

Muddler – The best for citrus rinds, berries, herbs and spices. Amazon.

Small sieve – Ideal for straining berries or loose tea. Amazon.

Vegetable peeler and zester – Great for citrus twists, zest and rinds. Both from Williams Sonoma.
